Life Education WA has Mobile Learning Centres that alongside their mascot, Healthy Harold, tour primary schools providing unique learning environments. By engaging over 710,000 school children every year, they have been able to provide health education in an empowering way that allows young people to make safe choices.

The Competition is open to all Year 6 and Year 10 students, however, students in Years 9-12 may also enter the competition. (The primary focus is Year 10 students).

Each club will determine the location for their Competition.  Clubs should aim to hold the club Competition at their regular club location and schedule the speakers as their programme.
It may be advisable to have prequalifying Competitions at the local high schools.

The club (school level) Competitions should be completed by the July School holidays.

It is desirable to invite the parents of speakers, the high school principal, and appropriate teachers.

The District level semi-finals should be conducted prior to August 15th. Two competitors will advance to the State Final from each District Semi-Final (Regional, Metro1, Metro2).

 The State Final will be held on the week ending September 12th.

The Rotary Club of North Perth has sponsored many exchange students from the ages of 15-19 from many countries. Students have the opportunity to learn a new language, discover another culture and truly become a global citizen.

RYLA is an intensive leadership experience that gives young adults the ability to develop their skills as a leader while having fun and making connections.

Participants also have the ability to participate an extension program, RYLEAP, where leadership skills are taught on a deeper level.
